Thank goodness for a dark and rainy day! Yes, I’m happy that its cold and cloudy. That means that any light sensitivity that I had will not be a factor in driving to the gym. I was SO ready for a good hard workout.
I headed out to get a good ride on the bike during cycling. I fired my legs up and then rode as hard as I could. I burned over 600 calories in one hour on the bike. It was awesome and I loved every minute of it.
Then I got in another hour of Mat Pilates. A wonderful burning for my core and abs. I am still amazed at how strong my core has gotten in these last few weeks. Pilates is making a difference! Pilates and Yoga have also been great for my mind/thoughts. It lets me relax and focus on breathing to stretch and move my body.
These 2 hours were wonderful and I’m SO happy to be back in my routine!
In October 2009, I weighed 249 pounds. By February, I'd lost 35, and I'm still going. Bikini season's coming soon... will I make my goal by then? Watch and find out... but hang on tight! It's going to be a bumpy ride with lots of "Nic's and Bruises"
