Wednesday has been a good day!  I had an amazing session with Kevin and for that I am truly thankful.  It sure makes going to the gym easier when you’re going to spend time with someone who really thinks about YOU as a person.  He always does whats best for me and I have to always remember that when he’s pushing me!

I had a good 12 minute run at a speed of 5.0 and incline of 1.5.  Its amazing how I feel after accomplishing my run.  Its so hard but I just keep pushing until my time is up :)   Little by little I’m able to run longer and longer.  Yippie!

Today was “heavy weights” :)   I did arm presses with some assistance.  It was heavy after all and I did 4 sets of 8 each.  It was maybe 70 lbs?!

Then I did leg presses at 185 lbs.  Again, I did 4 sets of 8 presses.  Its hard to remember to push with my heels.  The ball of my foot and my toes really want to do all the work.  But somehow my legs held up and did great.

Next I hit the “T pull”.  I was on my stomach and using my arms only to pull up about 40 lbs.  Yes, I did 4 sets of 8 :)

KETTLEBELLS made a much needed return.  I love those thing and miss using them regularly.  I had two 20lb kettlebells – 1 in each hand.  It was time for heavy clean and presses.  It really forced me to use my legs to put them up in a consistent rhythm.  This time I did 4 sets of 10 clean and presses.

Hip bridges with my upper shoulders on an exercise ball and my feet up on the bench…it was KILLER!  I did 15 of them and a total of 3 sets.  My quads were on fire before I finished the first set of 15.  Ouch!

The other activity for the day was CYCLING!  It was all “endurance” and keeping your heart rate at a consistent rate for the entire 60 minutes.  It is one of the few physical activities that I can say that I LOVE!
