Thank Goodness Its Friday!
Its been a good week and I’m confident that all my hard work will show on the scale. Lucky for me, I have until March 24th to find out! March 24th is the next weigh-in for the competition.
Boot camp was good and actually it felt like the time flew by this morning. Lets see if I can remember all that we did…
10 Renegade Rows
10 dumbbell swings
20 alternating lunges
20 dead animal crunches
1 bear crawl – the length of the studio
1 lap of the track
***We did this cycle 4 times each***

The afternoon brought my first CYCLING class of this competition. Its been since September 2009 since I last did a cycling class. Oh, how I miss Amy’s awesome Cycling classes
Thanks to her, I know what the heck I’m doing!
It was a GREAT class and I felt good doing the entire HOUR. It was all about ENDURANCE. So good!
60 minutes of cycling
20 minutes of a 7.0 incline hill on the treadmill
30 minutes of strength and weights: focused on legs and lower abs
Then it was off to 20 or 25 minutes of the sauna. Its such a healthy sweat
In October 2009, I weighed 249 pounds. By February, I'd lost 35, and I'm still going. Bikini season's coming soon... will I make my goal by then? Watch and find out... but hang on tight! It's going to be a bumpy ride with lots of "Nic's and Bruises"
