I tried something new with my cardio routine today and it FAILED miserably! I typically try to run at the beginning of my workout but today I waiting until well into the middle/end. It was not smart. My legs were fried and it was very very difficult. But I guess I learned a valuable lesson today…run early!
55 minutes on the stationary bike
25 minutes on the treadmill with a 10 minute run
15 minutes on the elliptical

Today was my first day of PILATES! It was SO much fun and I can’t wait to add more of it to my regular routine. It was only a 30 minute class but the entire 30 minutes were very active and challenging. I really enjoyed this core workout and I quickly realized that my core is NOT in shape. I have a long way to go but that’s ok! Thanks Michelle for being so patient with me
I can’t wait until next week. I’ve heard great things about what Pilates can do for your body and now I’m putting it to the test!
In October 2009, I weighed 249 pounds. By February, I'd lost 35, and I'm still going. Bikini season's coming soon... will I make my goal by then? Watch and find out... but hang on tight! It's going to be a bumpy ride with lots of "Nic's and Bruises"
