Welcome to Monday morning boot camp at 5:30am! Kevin surprised us and didn’t have a substitute after all. His honeymoon flight didn’t leave until 11am today so he spent his early morning with us. All TWO of us!
Here was our workout:
20 alternating lunges on balance discs
25 jumping jacks
30 side steps with a resistance band – - 15 going each direction
25 jumping jacks
10 push ups on the balance discs
2 laps on the track
We did this combination 4 times and then moved to core/ab work.

The afternoon was … CARDIO!
25 minutes on a “no impact” running machine
20 minutes on the treadmill with a 10 minute run
30 minutes on the ARCH machine
I’m really enjoying the extra cardio in the afternoon. It feels like it brings my day to a close. All this working out feels like FUN again!
In October 2009, I weighed 249 pounds. By February, I'd lost 35, and I'm still going. Bikini season's coming soon... will I make my goal by then? Watch and find out... but hang on tight! It's going to be a bumpy ride with lots of "Nic's and Bruises"
