Thursday is my morning off during the week. Sleep was very welcomed this morning. Its amazing how sleeping until 8:30am makes me feel like I’ve slept until noon!
Kevin and Jill are having their wedding rehearsal today with the wedding tomorrow…so, he is officially “OUT” until Monday, March 15th!
Luckily, even with the wedding in 2 days, Kevin wrote detailed workout plans for me. I am confident that I can continue working hard and losing weight.
This afternoon I have a workout partner…Song! I’m excited to have a friend and workout partner
We met at 3:30pm and hit cardio…HARD! We did the elliptical for 30 minutes on the “Strength and Fat burning cycle”. Then it was on to the treadmill for an uphill walk! The incline was between 8.0 and 9.0 and a speed of 2.5. We walked this hill for 3o minutes. It kept my heart rate high and definitely burned my glutes/quads. It was a nice change. After the cardio we did some abs and stretching for another 20 – 30 mins or so. I can definitely feel my abs after yoga yesterday! The addition of ab work today helped to burn off the lactic acid…always a good thing.
In October 2009, I weighed 249 pounds. By February, I'd lost 35, and I'm still going. Bikini season's coming soon... will I make my goal by then? Watch and find out... but hang on tight! It's going to be a bumpy ride with lots of "Nic's and Bruises"
